On-Site Network.
The fair-going audience represents the largest out-of-home family audience in North America. With 150 million annual attendees, the state and county fair audience outpaces that of other popular platforms, e.g. the Disney theme parks, Major League Baseball, and NASCAR. Furthermore, with the average family spending four to six hours at a fairs, there are multiple opportunities for reaching and engaging consumers.
The Fair Network recognizes that many fairs have been able to attract large national sponsors locally as well as local sponsors. The Fair Network focuses on building and developing sponsorship programs that are incremental to their current local sponsorship activities with national sponsors and/or local businesses. The Fair Network's on-site programs include:
- Branding experiences
- Commercial exhibits
- Sampling opportunities
- Themed entertainment attractions.
With the knowledge that each fair is unique, The Fair Network works closely with all participating fairs to ensure the optimum fairgoer experience.
In addition, The Fair Network is also identifying new media and advertising platforms for deployment at fairs. Most of these new platforms are technology-based and offer new entertainment experiences, which can enhance the overall fairgoer experience.
On-Line Network.
Advertisers are increasingly spending more money on-line. According to e-Marketer, advertiser spending on-line in 2005 totaled $ 13 billion and is expected to grow at double-digit rates by through the end of the decade. At the same time, with increasing internet usage at home, fairs are enjoying significant increases in traffic to their websites, especially during the fair.
Recognizing this opportunity, The Fair Network has embarked on building a network of fair websites from around the country. This network, launching in the summer of 2006, will:
- Enable fairs to make money from their growing web traffic
- Provide a platform for national sponsors to efficiently reach fairgoers
- Develop features for fair websites that will increase current traffic during the fair and to sustain traffic throughout the calendar year
- Build community features amongst the various groups participating in fairs every year.
The Fair Network believes that the internet represents a 21st Century manifestation of what North American fairs embodied as they evolved in the 19th Century. In a world of limited communication and transportation, citizens came to the fair to do many of the things they do today on-line, such as:
- Exhibit their products
- Meet people with similar interests
- Search and discover new information
- Celebrate their community
- Learn about developments in their community and the world
- Search for new suppliers and/or business ideas.
Given the similarities, The Fair Network believes that the internet represents a significant opportunity for all fairs to build their revenues, attendees and community. Therefore, we have built an on-line network that helps all fairs - small and large - benefit from the fastest growing sector of the advertising market today.
The Company has recently signed up a number of fairs to become part of The Fair Network Online. This network has been designed to enable fairs to generate revenues from the increase in traffic to their websites. In addition the network will provide user friendly tools that fairs can utilize to build their website traffic, on-site attendees and revenue opportunities.
Our primary focus is on servicing the fair community's needs in what is a rapidly changing media and advertising world. We are there to help fairs navigate these changes for the benefit of their fairs and fairgoers.
We invite all fairs to become part of the Fair Network On-Line. With increased participation, the value will only increase for all. For further information, please contact us.
